This is Chris Cosner's latest.  When the original Gust Front was close to being sold out, he got down to work on a new depiction of the mighty C-5 Galaxy in action.  Chris has this mighty bird fittingly taking off from a desert airstrip, kicking up quite a cloud of dust and sand behind her.  Click on the thumbnail image for a larger view, then click your browser's BACK button to return here.

Gust Front - strong winds in advance of a storm.  Commanding over 160,000 lbs. of thrust and weights in excess of 800,000 lbs., the gigantic and powerful Lockheed C-5 Galaxy was called upon during Desert Storm to spearhead the airlift of nearly a half million passengers and over 1 billion pounds of cargo needed to liberate besieged Kuwait.
