The Northrup Grumman EA-6B Prowler The Northrup Grumman EA-6B Prowler, originally built by Grumman Aircraft, is an all-weather, long range, electronic warfare aircraft. Though flown primarily by US Navy and US Marine Corps squadrons, there are four joint Navy-Air Force expeditionary squadrons. The EA-6B Prowler is one of the primary aerial jamming platforms used by the US military. The Prowler carries a crew of four, a pilot and 3 Electronic Countermeasures Officers (ECMOS), protected from the powerful emissions of its electronic equipment by a gold-tinted canopy. It has been in use since the mid 1960s, with many upgrades to its electronic equipment over the aircraft's life. Squadrons flying the Prowler began transitioning to the EA-18G Growler, which is based on the F/A 18F Super Hornet. EA-6B Prowler Profile Drawing by George E. Bieda
A high degree of customization can be incorporated into your drawing. You may request that a specific aircraft number, BUNO, carrier and airwing be used on your drawing. We can also add up to 3 lines of personalization, which we place centered under the American flag. This helps to make your drawing truly unique, and there is no extra charge for this personalization work! Just add your specifics to the COMMENTS section of your order form.
