Night
Knight
This
dramatic painting of the Lockheed F-117 Stealth Fighter portrays the advanced
aircraft in its element over the night skies of Baghdad during Operation Iraqi
Freedom. Twice this aircraft and her crews have been called to action
against the tyrannical dictator, Saddam Hussein, where it operated over one of
the most heavily defended target areas in the world with impunity.
Artist Andrew Probert is well known for his conceptual work on many movies and
television shows such as BattleStar Galactica, Back to the Future, and
AirWolf.
He also collaborated on the look of the movie Enterprise for Star Trek, and
designed the Enterprise D for Star Trek: TNG. His mastery of technical
artistry, design, and detail is evident in this stunning portrayal of America's
front-line attack aircraft.

This
dramatic painting of the Lockheed F-117 Stealth Fighter portrays Col. Al Whitley
and the 37th Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW) Nighthawks executing the first strike
on Baghdad in the early morning of January 16th, 1991, during operation Desert
Storm. This thrilling work by artist Steven Moore portrays the
Stealth Fighter as nearly as invisible to the eye as it is to enemy radar.
