The Vindicator

A premier weapons platform, the versatile F/A-18 Hornet demonstrates a Sierra Hotel ingress, as it plows along rough seas. In past conflicts, this aircraft has performed amazingly in the capable hands of it's pilots and crew, and is currently a most potent weapon in prosecuting the war against Saddam Hussein's regime in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Artist Wayne Percival shows off the F/A-18C Hornet in attack mode. During what we may soon be calling the "First Gulf War," this fast-mover from the Marines' Black Knights Squadron (VFMA-314) hits an Iraqi ammo dump at the Kuwait City International Airport, shortly before ground forces drove inland and liberated the city.
