Ferrying US Marines from amphibious ships to shore is a critical mission performed by highly specialized vehicles.  The Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) emphasizes speed and mobility.  The Utility Landing Craft (LCU) employs a unique "drive-through" configuration for rapid loading and unloading.  The Marines' Assault Amphibian Vehicle (AAV) is essentially a tank that swims.

Currently, we have limited artwork depicting landing craft or vehicles in action.  Several are planned for the immediate future, and US Military Art .com has already created web pages to display these pending works.
