Personalization Hints

One of the great features of our ship and aircraft profile drawings is that we can add up to 3 lines of personalization to any drawing at no extra charge. This makes each drawing truly unique!  Typically, the personalization is centered under the American flag on the drawing. In some cases, however, depending on the dimensions of the subject matter, it is necessary to place it elsewhere.  We then place it under the ship's or squadron's plaque.

We limit the personalization to 3 lines, with a maximum of 25 characters per line.  Customers can contact us if they need to exceed these space limits.  We can add any type of personalization as long as it is not offensive, and is not disrespective of the United States of its Armed Services.

For our ship drawings, the personalization would typically include your name, rate/rank, duty station on board, and years of service aboard.  Some customers include their nickname rather than duty station.  Other options include appropriate text and/or historical information. Aircraft drawings would have similar personalization, which might include your name, rate/rank, call sign/nickname or specialty, and years with squadron. Some examples are given below -

Similar additions may be made to US Coast Guard and US Air Force drawings, as well.
